Nutrient-Packed Powerhouse Smoothies

Blend all of these smoothies in a blender for an optimal way to start the day! Add spinach/kale and/or almond butter to any of these recipes for added nutrients and protein.

Strawberry Flax Smoothie

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 3/4 cup unflavored yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 T honey
  • 2 T ground flax seed

Kale-Apple Smoothie

  • 3/4 cup chopped kale (ribs and stems removed)
  • 1 small stalk chopped celery
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup fresh apple juice
  • 1 T fresh lemon juice

Creamy Date Smoothie

  • 3/4 cup whole milk or coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup halved, pitted dates (soaked 15 min)
  • 1/2 cup ice

Spinach, Grape, and Coconut Smoothie

  • 1 cup seedless green grapes
  • 1 cup packed baby spinach
  • ½ cup ice
  • ¼ cup coconut milk

Raspberry and Nut Smoothie

  • ¾ cup coconut milk
  • ¾ cup frozen raspberries
  • small frozen banana
  • 1 T almond butter
